Taking a yoga class in the evening class allows you to unwind and
release tension in order to have a relaxing evening and a restful
night's sleep.
Classes are typically one hour in length. The style of Hatha yoga
taught is dependent on student interest and abilities. Iyengar and
Ashtanga yoga are typically taught.
Registration
Registrations for classes begin in September.
Payment
Pre-payment for a session of classes is at a reduced rate. Drop-in
rates are also available.
Preparing for Yoga Class
Wear comfortable loose-fitting, lightweight clothes. Yoga is done
in bare feet. A private bathroom is provided if you need to change
your clothes prior to practice. Showers are not available.
Do not eat a heavy meal for at least two hours before class. Any
snack before class should be a light one; yoga is done on an empty
stomach.
Bring a yoga "sticky" mat or an exercise mat for your
personal use. Other props and supports are provided.
